Tackle It Tuesday, Baby!

My Tackle it Tuesday will be short and sweet because I have some work ahead of me.  Are you ready…here goes.

My desktop on my computer is out of control.

I would take a picture but the batteries went dead…stinkin’ digitial camera

But minimize your screen so you can see your own desktop

Now image 3/4 of that covered with bookmarked websites and blogs

I need to clean it off

So that is what I am going to do now!

Tackle It Tuesday

This week I am tackling my planner.  As some of you may know, I am trying VERY HARD to make a living at problogging and writing.  So I need to write everything down in my planner if I want to have a chance at getting it done.  ( I got my first “paycheck” yesterday if you want to check out that post)

Right now, I have 6 blogs, contribute to 4 (soon 5), re-doing my blogs, and all the other stuff that goes with blogging….yea…busy.  So I have included a picture of my planner for yesterday and today.  As you can see…Tackle It Tuesday is right on top for today to get done.  So one more down…and about 15 things to go…until tomorrow of course.  So what else are the ladies tackling?  Go and find out!

Tackle It Tuesday

 

With the whole family (including hubby…he gets a Christmas break from his work too…awesome I know) home for the holidays, my blogging took a back seat.  I have hundreds of e-mails to trudge through, I have 6 blogs to update, I have a contest I am starting, and I still have the chaos of Christmas to clean up.  So tonite I must stay up late for the blogging.  Tomorrow I must clean like a mad woman cause the toys and mess and disorganization is driving me crazy…crazier than I normally am.  But now that I have shared that, I must get back to my e-mails.  I think I finally broke into the 200’s.  And while you are catching up on your blogging, go and check out everyone else who is tackling something this week.

Tackle It Tuesday

Here we are.  Another tackle it tuesday.  I am alittle late, sorry.  We had shots for everyone today.  Let’s do the math…4 for my oldest…3 for the little lady…3 each for the twins.  Yea…you could say I tackled something today.  I had been dreading this day for several weeks now.  And, to top it all off, today was the very first time I took all 4 of them out into town.  Yea…the very first.  The appointment was at 9 AM.  I started getting everyone ready at 6:45 in the morning.  We still were late.  Now I know why I have never taken all of them out before.  The shots took about 3 hours because we were late, then I needed to do about an hour of paperwork, then they needed to find out which shots all the kids had, then we had to talk about each one, then we finally did the shots.  It was one of my harder days as a mother.  So, due to the crappy tackle tuesday I had, I am showing you Christmas pictures…because I love christmas. 

The top picture is at our town Christmas last week…this is the library…they had one of the best cookies spread…yea…I did put alot of cookies in my pocket.  Next year…I am bringing a baggie.  The bottom picture is of the Cookie Cutter Ornaments we made over the weekend.  If you want to see each one close up, you can check out one of my other blogs The Momdum Chronicles.  They are lovely…and easy.  So I guess I have tackled enough for the day.  Now…where did I leave that nap…oh…there it is…..zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…oh…hold on….go check out my other tackling heros…….zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

 

Tackle It Tuesday

Yea…we got snow…covered with sleet…packed with ice.  I know…I know…we did get it on Saturday.  But snow is just so cold.  Well, it is. 

Anyway, it is what I have to tackle today.  I guess I am hoping that due to lazy and above 30 temperatures, the ice will just break apart and I can simply shove it aside.  My hubby is (hopefully) going to get some salt so we don’t go sliding on our butts.  I will do it.  I have to.  I know you want to see a picture of the finished product.  It will be good exercise, right?  Isn’t that what this particular blog is about…living a fantastically full, fat, chunky, funky life.

Tackle it Tuesday

Welcome to another wonderful tackle it tuesday.  I am sorry I don’t have any pictures.  My camera batteries decided to go dead on me this morning.  But hopefully you can imagine my tackling. 

So this week, I am officially going to start loosing weight.  One way I am going to do that is to throw away all the candy we have in our house.  That may not sound like much, but we still have A TON of halloween candy—and I am a cheap skate.  If any of you out there are cheap skates like me, you know that throwing anything away that is still good is quite difficult to do.  And we still have about 3 bags of candy on top of our kids candy they “earned” on halloween.  It is just so yummy. 

Yea…I love chocolate.  Can’t help it.  But it doesn’t love me back.  And I have enough junk in my trunk for about 4 halloweens.  But that is what I am going to tackle today.  So now that you have empowered me to throw out some very yummy in my tummy candy, go and see who else needs some help tackling their tuesday!

Tackle It Tuesday–never ending dishes

This is my very first Tackle It Tuesday.  So forgive me if I don’t do it right…now on with the show.

So I have 1 hubby, 4 kids, 7 blogs, and a partridge in a pear tree…no…no partridge…but I am busy.  The one thing I am always behind on are the dishes, which is bad.  But Thanksgiving is right around the corner.  And all of you mothers out there who have fixed Thanksgiving dinner know, you must have a clean kitchen are there is never enough room.  Just yesterday, my kitchen was spotless…no messes, no dishes on the counter, nothing.  But this morning, DISASTER.  There are dishes everywhere…well maybe not that bad…but it seems like it since I have to start making Thanksgiving goodies.  MMMMMmmmmmmmmmm…spiced walnut, choc. chip cookies, deviled eggs, veggie tray, BBQ little smokies…mmmmmmmm.  uuuuuuuugggggggg…I hate dishes. 

Well, there ya go.  I am tackling pre-holiday dishes.  Next week I will probably be tackling post-holiday dishes.  It is a good thing we have a dishwasher….me!
